Flagstaff and Prescott lessons are booked by phone.
You must be at least 15 years and 6 months old to apply for an Arizona Class G instruction permit.
Drivers under 18 must hold the instruction permit for 6 months, or until they turn 18, before they can get a driver license. The earliest age for a Class G graduated license is 16.
Teens under 18 need at least 30 hours of supervised practice, including 10 at night. Teens who complete an approved driver education program need at least 20 hours, including 6 at night.
Yes. Arizona waives the road test for teens who complete a high school or privately operated driver education program and submit proof of completion within 12 months.
For the first 6 months of a graduated license, teens cannot drive from midnight to 5 a.m. unless a licensed parent or guardian is in the front seat, and cannot carry more than one passenger under 18 who is not a sibling.
