Terms of Service

By booking a lesson, submitting student information, checking the agreement box, or signing with a typed name, you agree to the following Deer Valley Driving School terms.

Student training agreement: The person signing confirms that the information submitted is accurate and authorizes Deer Valley Driving School and its certified instructors to provide the selected driving instruction, classroom or knowledge instruction, road skills practice, and/or final evaluation services for the listed student.

Electronic signature: Typing a legal name in the scheduler and accepting these terms is intended to act as an electronic signature for the student training agreement. If the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the acceptance and provide parent or guardian contact information.

Student records: Deer Valley Driving School may collect and keep student-file records needed for instruction, payment, scheduling, audit readiness, and Arizona driver training provider compliance. These records may include student name, date of birth, address, phone, email, permit or Arizona ID number, parent or guardian information for a minor student, permit or ID images, payment and receipt information, lesson dates and times, instructor names, vehicle information, student initials or signatures, completion records, final skills exam records, and electronic reporting proof.

Copies and retention: Deer Valley Driving School may keep a copy of the accepted terms, typed signature, timestamp, payment reference, and related student-file records in its scheduling and business records. Deer Valley Driving School may provide a copy of the acceptance record and applicable terms available in its records upon request.

Student requirements: Students must hold a valid Arizona learner's permit before their first behind-the-wheel lesson. Students must be prepared to show the permit or state-issued identification when requested.

Scheduling and rescheduling: All lesson times are subject to instructor availability. Lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours may incur a reschedule fee. Deer Valley Driving School may reschedule lessons due to weather, instructor illness, vehicle availability, safety concerns, or other circumstances.

No-shows: Failure to appear for a scheduled lesson without prior notice may result in forfeiture of that lesson. No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

Payments: Payments are processed securely through the payment method shown during checkout. Payments are final once made, and Deer Valley Driving School does not issue refunds after payment is made.

Training completion and road-test waiver limits: Deer Valley Driving School may only issue completion or waiver-related documentation when the student has completed the applicable training requirements and the student file supports completion. Completion documentation is not a guarantee that ADOT/MVD will issue a driver license, and Deer Valley Driving School cannot guarantee or influence any ADOT/MVD licensing decision.

Safety and conduct: Students must follow instructor directions, wear required seat restraints, obey traffic laws, and avoid unsafe behavior during training. Deer Valley Driving School may stop, reschedule, or refuse a lesson if the student appears unsafe, impaired, disruptive, unprepared, unlicensed to practice, or unable to follow reasonable safety instructions.

Text Messages: By booking a lesson, providing a phone number, and accepting these terms in the scheduler, you consent to receive service-related text messages from Deer Valley Driving School and/or Acuity Scheduling, including booking confirmations, schedule changes, lesson reminders, and other lesson logistics. These messages are appointment and service messages, not marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies based on the number of scheduled lessons. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Deer Valley Driving School: (602) 663-3502, austen.dvds@gmail.com.
